Tone is an important area that all guitar players need to address. Have you ever looked at a piece of music and been amazed by it's simplicity? This may be down to good phrasing and tone production.

Have a look at some playing that has made a big impact on you emotionally. Leaving shred to one side there is a good chance that the player is doing something simple with the same notes that you know but for some reason you may sound miles apart. This is because they have spent some time on delivering good tone. You should note that good tone doesn't come from expensive gear, it will 'aid' tone but not deliver it.....…follow link for more:
